LT01 - The Stormy Monk
Scripture of the Week
Surely the Lord God does nothing, without revealing his secret to his servants the prophets. The lion has roared; who will not fear? The Lord God has spoken; who can but prophesy? For lo, the one who forms the mountains, creates the wind, reveals his thoughts to mortals. — Amos 3:7-8, 4:13a

Friday Role Play:
Act out the scene on the cover.
Martin Luther has just returned home after his experience with the thunderstorm. He tells you he thinks God must hate him because of his sin. He is going to become a monk so he can escape all of the temptation of the world. Maybe by doing that he can merit God’s love.
What do you tell him? Act it out!
