LT04 - Peace with God
Scripture of the Week
The one who is righteous will live by faith. For there is no distinction, since all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God; they are now justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ. — Romans 1:17b, 3:22b-23
Highlight scripture in your Bible. Play the karaoke and sing along with the song. What words or phrases jump out at you? Why?

Open your Small Catechism or go on line to Part II, Luther’s teaching on the Third Article of the Apostles’ Creed. This section talks about the work of the Holy Spirit. What do these words mean to you: Calls, Gathers, Enlightens, Sanctifies (makes holy), Keeps, Forgives.

Who is the most grace-filled person you know? How do you experience grace through them?
Friday Role Play:
Act out the scene on the cover. Luther has recently been studying and teaching the books of Psalms and Romans. In Psalms he sees the Lord as a Shepherd who loves and cares for his sheep. In Romans, he reads God is for him—not against him—and Jesus died in love for the lost. Act out the moment when Luther finally sees the light - through the amazing grace of God.
What was your highest high this week? What was your lowest low? Thank and praise God for the highest high. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you with the lowest low. Close in Jesus’ name.
